Frank's family up for a visit
Frank's parents and neices came up for the weekend. We had a lot of fun playing games, making treats, and doing a little singing and dancing too! Cecilia was napping during most of the fun, too bad I didn't have my camera out while she was in the action.
They all had spoons to sing with, Max was singing one of his favorite songs for the girls. I don't even know the title, it's some old school slow song that Frank likes. Max LOVES attention!
After a long weekend this is how I found him at 10 in the morning yesterday, they sure did tucker him right out! Thanks again for the visit and for all the food. Frank always loves when his mom comes, because he gets his Tongan food fix.

Half way there...
So after a few requests, I decided to post a pic of my belly. I am just over half way there! YEA! For those of you who haven't heard yet, we just found out yesterday that we are having a BOY! We are really excited. I was talking to Max this morning and said something like, Max I can't wait until this baby comes out so that we can see what he looks like...he might look like you. Max said, "Yeah, we can see if me and my brother match!" It was so cute. He's been into figuring out if his clothes match or not, so I just thought that was a cute perspective.
We did find out that his left foot is a club foot. For those of you wondering, it's where the foot is turned in at an angle. From what we've heard it can be fixed with a brace, and may or may not need surgery depending on the severity. This kind of caught me off guard, but Frank was quick to put things back into perspective for me. He said, "Well at least he has a foot." Which is true. I've felt a comforting feeling that everything will be okay, and I am thankful for that!
So Cici will have to toughen up in a hurry to put up with her brothers!!

for sure worth sharing....
compliments of Aunt Kris given to me by Aunt Kim
2 lbs. chicken breasts or tenderloins
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1-2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup water
1 Tbsp. chicken boullion
1-2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. coriander
1 can coconut milk
1 Tbsp. hot chili oil
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup peanuts coarsely chopped
cilantro (just for garnish)
In a deep skillet heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and cook 1-2 minutes. Add chicken, brown lightly on both sides. Then add water, boullion, soy sauce, cumin, coriander, coconut milk, and hot chili oil. Simmer uncovered until chicken is fully cooked and sauce reduces. Add peanut butter, and heat through. Garnish with peanuts and cilantro and serve with steamed rice. ENJOY!
Feel free to copy and paste so you can have this recipe for yourself. I hope anyone who tries this enjoys it as much as I did. It was delicious. To my dear friends Sunny and Becky...I miss our cook group. If any of you have good recipes send them my way, it seems like I have slim pickins these days.

Egg Hunting Fun
We had a lot of fun this morning. A pretty low key easter egg hunt, just my style! Cici was perfectly content cruising around with her one egg, while Max and his friends Emme and Grace had a great time egg hunting! Some of my pics didn't turn out , but the kids were so cute! The fun has just begun...we plan on dying eggs later this afternoon.

peace of mind
So, I just have to say that the best peace of mind you can have while being pregnant is hearing that healthy heartbeat! I love that sound. Especially right now, I am 16 weeks so the baby isn't totally moving all the time yet, but I am also feeling much better. So really the only peace of mind I have right now is to hear that little heart beat, everything sounded good today. I am getting excited to find out what it is in 4 weeks! Babies really are such little heaven sent miracles.
